Old Trafford: The Complete Hospitality & Seating Guide

The Lounges, Explained

Executive Quadrant (500 Club, Academy, 100 Club, Kit Room)

Sir Alex Ferguson Stand (North Stand)

The Executive Quadrant is Old Trafford's in-stadium corporate hospitality suite area, occupying the private box tier of the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand. There are four named suite tiers within the Executive Quadrant - the 500 Club, the Academy, the 100 Club, and the Kit Room - each representing a different area of the Quadrant block. All four deliver the same base experience: private dining and bar facilities within your suite, with seats in the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand directly in front. The difference between tiers relates to exact seating position within the stand. The suites are well-established and are typical of the traditional executive box model: you dine inside, step out to watch the game from your reserved seats, and return for half-time and post-match hospitality. The 500 Club and 100 Club are named in reference to specific milestones in the club's history. Executive Quadrant is best suited to groups of 6-12 looking for a self-contained private experience.

Victoria Warehouse

Off-site - Trafford Wharf Road, M17 1AB (5-minute walk from Old Trafford)

Victoria Warehouse is an atmospheric pre-match hospitality venue in a converted Victorian railway goods warehouse approximately five minutes' walk from Old Trafford. This is a genuine alternative to in-stadium hospitality for guests who want a more social, less corporate pre-match experience. The Warehouse hosts live entertainment, multiple bars, and a pre-match dining service in a warehouse setting that retains a lot of its original industrial character. A coach transfer to Old Trafford for kick-off is included. Seats are in the main bowl at Old Trafford - premium locations within the standard seating areas rather than private suites. Victoria Warehouse suits larger groups who want a memorable pre-match experience and a livelier atmosphere than a private suite dining room provides.

Salford Suite

Sir Alex Ferguson Stand, Level 2

The Salford Suite is a formal fine dining experience on Level 2 of the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand, offering padded seats on the second tier of the stand facing the pitch. This is one of the best vantage points at Old Trafford - the elevated position gives an excellent panoramic view of the full pitch. The suite has a formal dining room atmosphere with table service and a premium menu. Unlike the Executive Quadrant suites, the Salford Suite is a shared dining environment rather than a private box, which suits individual bookings and smaller groups. Post-match access to the lounge is included.

Getting There

Old Trafford is on the Metrolink tram network, making it one of the more accessible Premier League grounds outside London. The Old Trafford Metrolink stop on the Altrincham line is approximately a 10-minute walk from the stadium along Sir Matt Busby Way. From Manchester city centre, trams run frequently from Deansgate Castlefield or St Peter's Square, taking around 10-12 minutes to Old Trafford stop. On major matchdays, the tram network runs extended services and carriages fill quickly - allow extra time. Note that the nearest tram stop to Victoria Warehouse is Trafford Bar, not Old Trafford, which is marginally closer to the Warehouse venue on Trafford Wharf Road. Train services run to Trafford Park station from Manchester Oxford Road, which is also within walking distance.

Hospitality Entrance

For Executive Quadrant and Salford Suite guests, the hospitality entrance is via the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand reception on Sir Matt Busby Way - this is clearly signposted and separate from the general turnstile areas on the Warwick Road side. Victoria Warehouse guests arrive directly at the Warehouse on Trafford Wharf Road and are transported to the stadium by coach before kick-off.

Arrival Timing by Package

What to Expect on Matchday

For Executive Quadrant guests, check in at the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand reception and proceed to your named suite. The suite will be set for dining, and catering service begins approximately two hours before kick-off. At kick-off, step directly from your suite to your seats in the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand - there is a door from the suite to your specific seat block. Half-time means returning to the suite for refreshments. Post-match, the suite remains available for drinks and debrief. For Victoria Warehouse guests, the sequence is reversed - you spend the pre-match period at the Warehouse (arrival 3 hours before) and transfer to the stadium by coach around 45-60 minutes before kick-off.

Parking & Practical Notes

Matchday parking near Old Trafford is extremely congested. There are official car parks bookable through Manchester United's website, but they fill well in advance of major matches. Street parking in the surrounding Trafford area is heavily restricted. The strongly recommended approach is to park at a city centre car park (most Manchester city centre NCP facilities have reasonable all-day rates) and use the Metrolink. For those determined to drive, arriving at least 2.5 hours before kick-off gives the best chance of securing parking.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the dress code at Old Trafford hospitality?

Smart casual throughout. Replica shirts are generally permitted in bar areas and within suites, but the Salford Suite dining room environment is smarter in practice. Jeans and clean trainers are fine for Quadrant suites and Victoria Warehouse.

Is Victoria Warehouse inside the stadium?

No. Victoria Warehouse is an entirely separate venue approximately five minutes' walk from Old Trafford. It is a converted warehouse building used specifically for pre-match hospitality, and a coach transfer to the stadium is included in the package before kick-off.

How many people can an Executive Quadrant suite hold?

Individual suites in the Executive Quadrant are typically configured for 6-12 guests. Larger groups can book adjacent suites. Contact DN Global for specific suite configurations and group sizes.

Can I arrive by Metrolink and walk to the Victoria Warehouse?

Yes. The nearest tram stop to Victoria Warehouse is Trafford Bar on the Altrincham line, a short walk from Trafford Wharf Road. Old Trafford tram stop is slightly further but also walkable.

What happens post-match if I'm in the Victoria Warehouse package?

Victoria Warehouse packages include a coach transfer back to the Warehouse after the match, where post-match bar facilities are available before the venue closes for the evening.
