Etihad Stadium: The Complete Hospitality & Seating Guide

The Lounges, Explained

93:20 Lounge

South Stand, premium level

The 93:20 Lounge is named after the famous 93rd minute and 20 seconds of the 2011-12 season when Sergio Agüero's goal won Manchester City the Premier League title. The name immediately signals what this lounge is about: a knowing, self-aware celebration of the club's recent golden era. The lounge is located in the South Stand and offers a panoramic view across the full width of the pitch from an elevated vantage point, with floor-to-ceiling glazing giving the unusual benefit of watching the pre-match warm-up from your table. Seating in the stand is on padded seats in the South Stand with excellent central pitch views. The 93:20 Lounge suits premium client entertainment where the setting itself is a talking point - the stadium story and the lounge name both do part of the entertainment work for you.

Kits Sports Bar

Etihad Campus, adjacent to stadium

Kits Sports Bar is a more casual hospitality setting within the Etihad Campus development, suited to groups who want a livelier, less formal pre-match environment. The bar has multiple screens, a sports bar atmosphere, and food service as part of the package. Seats are in the main bowl at the Etihad. This option suits groups where some guests are less interested in a sit-down fine dining experience and would prefer a standing bar environment with a more social feel. It is also typically a more accessible price point than the 93:20 Lounge.

Getting There

The Etihad Stadium is served directly by the Metrolink Ashton-under-Lyne line via Etihad Campus stop, a five-minute walk from the main entrance. From Manchester city centre, services depart from Piccadilly Gardens or Market Street, with journey times of around 8-10 minutes. Etihad Campus stop is closed only on very rare occasions - check the TfGM website for service updates on matchdays. Several bus routes also serve Ashton New Road from the city centre. The Etihad is located in east Manchester and is not on the same Metrolink corridor as Old Trafford (which is Altrincham line).

Hospitality Entrance

Hospitality guests should use the dedicated South Stand hospitality entrance, accessed via the footbridge over Ashton New Road on the south side of the stadium. This entrance is entirely separate from the general admission turnstiles on the north and east sides of the ground. Signage from Etihad Campus tram stop directs to both general and hospitality entrances.

What to Expect on Matchday

Arrive at the South Stand hospitality entrance and check in with your booking reference. You'll be directed to your lounge - either the 93:20 Lounge on the upper level or Kits Sports Bar on the concourse level. Pre-match dining begins approximately 90 minutes to two hours before kick-off. The Etihad has some of the widest concourses of any Premier League ground, which means half-time refreshment service is noticeably more efficient than at older stadiums. Post-match, the lounge is available for approximately 45 minutes before closing.

Parking & Practical Notes

Limited matchday parking is available around the Etihad Campus, including the official car parks bookable through Manchester City's website. These fill fast on major match days, so advance booking is essential. Satellite parking in the wider east Manchester area with shuttle services is also available on selected fixtures. The Metrolink is the most reliable option and should be the default plan.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the dress code in Etihad hospitality?

Smart casual. No replica shirts in the 93:20 dining areas - though they are generally tolerated in the Kits Sports Bar setting. Jeans are fine throughout.

What does the 93:20 Lounge include?

Pre-match three-course dining with wines and soft drinks included, padded seats in the South Stand with premium central views, half-time bar access, and post-match lounge access. Refer to your specific package details for full inclusions.

Is there a transfer from the lounge to the seats?

The lounge and the seating area are directly connected within the South Stand - there is no need for a separate transfer. Guests walk through the internal hospitality corridor directly to their padded seats.

How early should I arrive if travelling by Metrolink?

Aim to be on the tram at least 90 minutes before kick-off. Etihad Campus stop can become crowded in the 60 minutes before a match, and trams from the city centre run about every 6-8 minutes during peak periods.

What happens if my match is rescheduled for a midweek?

If the match is rescheduled and you cannot attend, contact your DN Global account manager as soon as possible. Options depend on the specific circumstances and timing of the postponement.
