Red clay, Parisian setting, and the most atmospheric night sessions in tennis.
The only Grand Slam on clay
The red clay surface produces longer rallies, higher bounces, and a physically demanding style of tennis unlike any other major.
A genuine Parisian experience
Stade Roland Garros sits in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, bordered by the Bois de Boulogne - not just a sports venue but a Parisian occasion.
Court Philippe-Chatrier
The main show court, capacity approximately 15,225, with a retractable roof and floodlights enabling the iconic evening and night sessions.
Court Suzanne-Lenglen
The second show court, capacity approximately 10,000, also with a retractable roof.
Court Simonne-Mathieu
Capacity approximately 5,000, and distinctive for its greenhouse architecture set among the botanical gardens.
Night sessions
Played on Philippe-Chatrier: gates open 6:30pm, matches from 8:15pm - one of the most atmospheric settings in world sport.
The Roland Garros Village
The Village is Roland Garros's premium hospitality area - a dedicated space within the grounds offering elevated dining, lounge access, and the unique atmosphere of the French Open. Hospitality guests access the Village with dedicated entrances and superior match views.
It is a thoroughly French experience: fine dining, wines, and the unmistakable Paris atmosphere. Because DN Global is not the official hospitality provider for the French Open, we will always set out in writing which experience is being sourced, precisely what it includes and what it does not, before you commit to anything.
