Anfield: The Complete Hospitality & Seating Guide

The Lounges, Explained

Brodies

Anfield Road Stand

Brodies is Liverpool's flagship hospitality area, situated in the Anfield Road Stand and named after the restaurant located within it. The lounge occupies a self-contained section with its own dedicated entrance, bar, and pre-match dining room. Seats are in the lower block of the Anfield Road Stand directly behind the goal, with rows 1-4 available to hospitality guests depending on the variant selected. The atmosphere here is genuine matchday Anfield - you're close to the pitch, close to the Kop behind the opposite goal, and very much inside the stadium experience rather than insulated from it. Brodies suits guests who want a first-class package without sacrificing the rawness of a Liverpool home match. The inclusion of a Legends package on selected fixtures gives groups a genuine point of difference when entertaining clients.

Premier Club Lounge

Sir Kenny Dalglish Stand

The Premier Club Lounge is located in the Sir Kenny Dalglish Stand (the east side of the ground) and offers a more panoramic view compared to the behind-the-goal Brodies seats. The lounge itself is spacious with a formal dining setup, and the seating positions give a long-side perspective of the pitch that many hospitality guests prefer for viewing the game tactically. This package suits groups that prioritise the dining and lounge experience as much as the match itself, or clients who may be less familiar with football and would benefit from a less intense, more central atmosphere. The overall package is all-inclusive with pre-match dining and post-match access.

Getting There

Anfield has no convenient rail or tube station within walking distance - this is an important practical point that most competitor guides gloss over. The nearest mainline station is Liverpool Lime Street, approximately 2.5 miles from the ground. From there, taxis take roughly 15 minutes on a normal day, but allow 25-30 minutes on a matchday. Alternatively, Merseytravel operates bus routes 17, 26, and 27 directly to the ground on matchdays, with journey times of around 25 minutes from the city centre. Pre-match parking in the surrounding streets is very limited and fills early.

Hospitality Entrance

Hospitality guests do not use the general admission turnstiles. Brodies guests enter via the dedicated Hospitality Reception on the Anfield Road side of the ground - follow signage from the Anfield Road corner. Premier Club guests have a separate entrance on the Dalglish Stand side. Both are staffed and clearly separated from the general public queues.

What to Expect on Matchday

Arrive at the hospitality entrance - you'll be checked in with your booking reference and directed to your lounge. Pre-match dining typically begins 2 hours before kick-off and runs until 45 minutes before, transitioning to a lighter bar service in the final stretch. At kick-off, you proceed to your seat via a dedicated internal route. Half-time means a return to the lounge (or, for Brodies, the adjacent bar area) for refreshments. Post-match, the bar remains open for approximately 45 minutes after the final whistle - useful for waiting out the initial rush of 60,000 people leaving the stadium simultaneously before making your way back to transport.

Parking & Practical Notes

Street parking near Anfield is extremely limited and actively restricted on matchdays. There are unofficial car parks in the surrounding residential streets but spaces are first-come and fill over two hours before kick-off. The club's recommended approach for drivers is to use official matchday parking, bookable in advance through Liverpool FC's website. If you're driving from outside the city, consider parking at Liverpool city centre car parks and taking the matchday bus service - this avoids the post-match gridlock around the ground.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a dress code at Anfield hospitality?

Smart casual is expected throughout all Anfield hospitality areas. Most lounges discourage replica shirts in the dining room, though they are usually permitted in bar areas. Jeans are fine. Formal dress is not required.

Can members of my group arrive separately?

Yes. As long as each guest has the booking reference or their ticket, they can arrive independently at the hospitality entrance. It's worth making sure all guests know which entrance to use as the general admission turnstiles will not accept hospitality bookings.

Is there a cloakroom at Anfield?

Cloakroom facilities are available in the main hospitality areas. Given Anfield's typical weather conditions (Liverpool in November is a different proposition to Liverpool in August), this is worth knowing about if you're attending with coats and bags.

How long before kick-off should I arrive?

For Brodies, aim for two hours before kick-off to make full use of the pre-match dining. Legend Packages on applicable fixtures recommend arriving at least 2.5 hours early as the Legends appearance happens before the dining service closes.

What happens if a match is postponed?

In the event of postponement, your hospitality package will be transferred to the rescheduled date. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled fixture, please contact your DN Global account manager directly to discuss options.
