Off-site hospitality at the Joie Stadium - Heart of the City and Media Zone compared

Campus Hospitality - Heart of the City & Media Zone at Etihad Stadium

Heart of the City and Media Zone are Manchester City's off-site hospitality packages. Both are held at the Joie Stadium, the club's academy ground about a ten-minute walk from the Etihad, and both seat guests on shared tables of four or six. Dining is buffet-style and drinks are included, and you then walk across to the Etihad for the match. Be clear on one point before booking: the stadium seat on both packages is a general admission Level 1 seat in the East Stand, not a hospitality seat. Neither package includes car parking or any post-match hospitality.

What is included in Campus Hospitality - Heart of the City & Media Zone

Exact inclusions vary by fixture - your account manager confirms the detail in writing before you book:

  • Hospitality at the Joie Stadium, about a ten-minute walk from the Etihad
  • Buffet dining with a drinks package included
  • Shared tables of four or six with other guests
  • General admission Level 1 seat in the East Stand of the Etihad
  • NO car parking
  • NO post-match hospitality

Where you sit

A general admission Level 1 seat in the East Stand of the Etihad on both packages. The hospitality itself takes place at the Joie Stadium across the road, on shared tables of four or six with other guests. If a padded executive seat matters to you, the social bars are the cheapest package at the ground that provides one.

Lounge access

Hospitality at the Joie Stadium, about a ten-minute walk from the Etihad. Heart of the City is a family-friendly space with a three-course buffet and an inclusive drinks package. Media Zone puts the pre-match build-up in the Media Centre with buffet-style dining and a selected drinks package. Media Zone opens 3 hours before kick-off with LAST ENTRY ONE HOUR BEFORE KICK-OFF - miss that and you have missed the hospitality. Neither package includes car parking, and neither has any post-match hospitality: after the final whistle the day is over.

How Campus Hospitality - Heart of the City & Media Zone compares

These two are the entry point to Manchester City hospitality and they buy you a meal rather than a seat - the stadium seat is general admission. Every in-stadium package, starting with the four social bars, gives you a padded executive seat and a lounge inside the ground. Take Campus hospitality for the dining and the value; take a social bar or above if where you sit matters.

Campus Hospitality - Heart of the City & Media Zone FAQs

What are Heart of the City and Media Zone?

Manchester City's two off-site hospitality packages, both held at the Joie Stadium, the club's academy ground about ten minutes' walk from the Etihad. Heart of the City is a family-friendly space with a three-course buffet and inclusive drinks. Media Zone puts the pre-match build-up in the Media Centre with buffet dining and a selected drinks package. Guests dine there and then walk over to the Etihad for the match.

What kind of stadium seat do these packages include?

A general admission Level 1 seat in the East Stand - not a padded executive hospitality seat. We say that plainly because the packages are sold as hospitality and the dining genuinely is, but the seat is an ordinary one. If the seat matters more than the meal, the social bars are the entry point for executive seating inside the ground.

What is the last entry time for Media Zone?

One hour before kick-off. The suite opens three hours before, and anyone arriving inside the last hour will not be admitted to the hospitality at all. Build the journey around that rather than around kick-off.

Is there parking or post-match hospitality?

No to both, on either package. There is no car parking included and no post-match hospitality - once the match finishes, the day is finished. Every in-stadium package at the Etihad keeps its lounge open for at least an hour afterwards.

What is the dress code at Etihad Stadium hospitality?

The social bars have no formal dress code and are deliberately relaxed. The Tunnel Club asks you to dress to impress - no shorts, football tops or caps - and the Green Room and Tunnel Club Premier are the same. Away colours are not appropriate in the home hospitality areas.

Is this official Manchester City hospitality?

The packages are sourced through our network of authorised hospitality suppliers rather than the secondary market, and every booking is confirmed to you in writing before you commit. DN Global is not Manchester City's official hospitality provider and does not present itself as one - what we guarantee is that the facility and inclusions you are quoted are the ones you receive.

Can I book this package for a group?

Yes - DN Global arrange Etihad hospitality for groups of all sizes, and seats are confirmed together rather than scattered. Tell us your numbers, your fixture and the occasion and your account manager will confirm what can be sourced.

How do I get to the Etihad Stadium?

The Etihad Campus Metrolink stop sits beside the ground, about ten minutes from Piccadilly Gardens on the blue line. Manchester Piccadilly is a twenty-five minute walk or a short tram ride. Traffic around the ground after full time is heavy, so allow for it. DN Global can arrange private transfers as part of your package.
