Parc des Princes
The Parc des Princes holds 47,929 and sits in the 16th arrondissement, on the western edge of Paris beside the Bois de Boulogne. It has been PSG's home since 1974 and it is a genuinely unusual piece of architecture: a closed concrete ring on angled ribs, with no corners open and every seat under cover.
The practical effect of that design is acoustic. The Parc is not a large stadium by modern standards, but it is a loud one, because the roof holds the noise in rather than letting it escape over open corners - the Virage Auteuil and Virage Paris ends carry most of it.
It has hosted two European Cup finals, in 1975 and 1981, the final of the 1984 European Championship, matches at the 1998 World Cup and at Euro 2016. Hospitality sits on the first ring on the long sides, reached through its own entrance via the Atrium.
